This was the largest Surrealist Exhibition to be held in Wales for nearly forty years.
It was a groundbreaking event for several reasons. One of those reasons was that Malcolm de Chazal had seventeen works on display at the exhibition. This was the first time that his works had been exhibited anywhere in the UK since 1969, as part of this enormous celebration of international Surrealism.
